Hi Nick
I am the proud father of the twins ben and Aaron who played their
first game last weekend for Kingsley against North Beach.
Not only did they share 5 goals between them (o.k. one was for
the other side - it was an attempted clearance) but they were
the
standout players on both sides despite a boy from the other team
also scoring a hatrick. I had numerous parents from the other
side
rekarking on how good the twins were at controlling the ball and
running with it, as well as their awareness of what was going
on. You
could see the pleasure and confidence in the twins resulting from
their skills. The only problem now is bringing them down to earth
and getting them to let the other kids have a kick of the ball
.. but that's another story.
It is testament to their time and your efforts being well spent
over the last few years. I recommended your services highly to
those who
enquired as to their teaching and will continue to do so. Soccer
is a great sport for kids of all ages and the head start that
you have provided
was clearly evident throughout the game when comparing what level
the other kids (without your teachings) are at. I would say to
the
other parents whose kids are not yet playing in a team .. be prepared
to be surprised at the standard your kids are at in comparison
to
those kids who have not spent time at Nick Corrigan's Soccer Schools.
When you may wonder why Nick has the kids playing games such as
"crabs' etc. instead of playing real matches, just be patient
as the ball control skills they are learning pay off. There is
plenty of time for matches in the
years to come.
Thanks again Nick for your patience and teachings.

he leaves school that's what he will be doing)
I have never put Brody into soccer before...(Nic your school is
the first for our boy)
What can I say he loves coming to your classes every Wednesday
@ Currambine Primary School.
I tried to get Brody into your classes last term but you were
fully booked :( :(......But when I told him this term that he
was in... OMG he was so excited.
Nic I would like to thank you for the job that you do....our son
comes away smiling after each lesson from you.

Dear Nic,
Just a short note to say a huge thank-you for all you have done
for our son with the Soccer School.
Because of the classes, he has met new friends and increased his
confidence in taking on new challenges.
He loves the soccer school and looks forward to going every Friday,
he has learnt some really fantastic skills with the ball and hopefully
will go on to playing in a team.
Thanks for all your patience, kindness and fun which you show
to the kids on a weekly basis.
Regards
Karen Palmer (Mum to Corey Kyrwood)

Dear Nick
I would like to express my thanks for a wonderful year of soccer
training that Yared has had in your soccer school.
The soccer lessons were a highlight of the week with Yared enjoying
every session. It was obvious that your love of soccer and your
dedication to teaching the children ensured a quality class which
was fun for all participants. As a parent it was great to see
the children enjoy participating in such a healthy outlet and
improving on their skills as the term progressed.
I have no hesitation in recommending Nick Corrigan's Soccer School
to other families.
Kind regards
Linda Pettitt

Hi Nick
Thanks so much for coaching Lochie in your Soccer School. He
has enjoyed every minute of it, and loves Tuesdays when he gets
to go to soccer. Lochie has improved his ball skills a great deal
since starting with you and especially loves kicking a goal. It
has also been great for his social skills including taking turns,
playing in a group of kids and listening to instructions. All
in all it has been a wonderful opportunity for Lochie to get outdoors
and have a kick around while having lots of fun with friends.
(And a great coach.)
Thanks Nick for a wonderful year of soccer and for all your great
newsletters keeping us updated with details.
Have a very Merry Christmas.
Marilyn and Lochie Martin

My 4 year old twins (Aaron and Ben) have been attending Nick’s
Soccer School at Currambine throughout 2006. During this time
I have seen a dramatic improvement in their balance, co-ordination
and perhaps most importantly listening skills. Like most parents,
hopefully we are not alone, struggling to teach kids to sit still
and pay attention is not easy. Watching them now sitting calmly,
listening and then doing gives us confidence that when they go
to pre-primary in 2007, they will be better prepared for what
lies ahead. They still have their moments though – but that’s
kids for you. Being able to mix with other kids of the same age
and learn in a non competitive and fun environment has been an
ideal platform. As new migrants it has also allowed us to meet
other parents, which we have enjoyed.
Hopefully the boys will continue to enjoy playing soccer (the
world game) in the years ahead rather than all this AFL stuff
and nonsense. Whether they will be the stars of Australian Soccer
of the future … I can only dream.

Hi Nick
Yes the year has flown by and I can see how the kids have improved!!
I want to personally thank you for the time and effort you have
put into giving the kids encouragement and support, especially
Kristian. I can really see that his skills and concentration have
improved and this has helped him in other areas also. You have
been firm yet fair with all the kids and this is great to see.
The range of activities have been really diverse and in my opinion,
age appropriate. May we wish you a great Christmas break and we
look forward to another great year of fun and skill in 2007!

Dear Nick
Just a short note to say thank you for yet another fantastic
term of soccer. Tom has really come on since attending, first
in the littlies and now just moving up to the Middlies. For a
child who really had no ball skill at all it is surprising what
just a short session a week can do for his confidence with a ball.
Thank you for being so patient with him.
Tom is really enjoying all the new ‘moves’ he is
learning and now practices in the garden. Still a bit of work
to do but he is getting there.
We look forward to another great term next year and are interested
in booking Tom in for the Holiday Club at Currambine.
Thanks again.
